Muhammed Sayed currently works as a climate specialist at the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA). Dr Sayed holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge as well as an MBA from the GIBS Business School. After a productive career in academia, Muhammed spent several years in the Venture Capital space and assisted numerous high growth SMMEs and innovators across diverse sectors before joining the DBSA initially as a principal investment officer for the South African Green Fund
