Mike is Acting Director of Infrastructure & Urban Development Department; and Head of Infrastructure & Partnerships at the African Development Bank (AfDB), where he oversees the NEPAD IPPF Special Fund which prepares regional bankable infrastructure projects including PPPs; and the Infrastructure Consortium for Africa, a knowledge and advocacy platform to mobilize investments into infrastructure in Africa. Other positions held in his almost 20 years at AfDB include Advisor, Manager, and Country Economist. His greatest passion is to see infrastructure enabling regional integration to realize Africa’s economic potential. Prior to the AfDB, he worked as Investment Banker at Société Générale in Paris and as Consultant in Copenhagen.
